About Dr. Lawrence Yawa
Minister of Foreign Relations & Diplomatic Affairs
Dr. Lawrence Yawa serves as the Minister of Foreign Relations & Diplomatic Affairs for the Kingdom of Numidoria, working closely with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Crown to advance the Kingdom’s international relationships. His responsibility is to build bridges between governments, institutions, businesses, community leaders, and the global African Diaspora through diplomacy, cultural exchange, humanitarian cooperation, and economic partnership. He represents the Kingdom with professionalism, dignity, and a spirit of cooperation, seeking to ensure that every diplomatic relationship creates an opportunity for greater understanding, meaningful collaboration, and shared progress.
Dr. Yawa is responsible for coordinating bilateral trade agreements, international business collaborations, investment relationships, and economic partnerships in cooperation with the Kingdom’s appropriate ministries and officials. His office works to connect diplomatic engagement with practical opportunities in trade, agriculture, technology, infrastructure, Smart City development, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship. His mission is to help transform diplomatic conversations into productive partnerships that benefit communities and strengthen relationships between the Kingdom, African nations, and international partners.
Dr. Yawa also oversees the diplomatic framework governing the Kingdom’s Ambassadors, Special Ambassadors, Envoys, and Consular Representatives. He ensures that each diplomatic representative understands the authority entrusted to them by the Crown, the responsibilities of their appointment, their reporting obligations, and the standards expected when representing the Kingdom abroad. Ambassadors and consulates are expected to operate with integrity, professionalism, cultural awareness, and respect for the laws and customs of their host jurisdictions. Their appointments are not merely ceremonial titles; they carry a responsibility to represent the Kingdom faithfully, cultivate relationships, identify opportunities, and advance the humanitarian, diplomatic, cultural, and economic objectives established by the Crown and the Prime Minister’s Office.
Representing the African Diaspora
As Minister of Foreign Relations & Diplomatic Affairs, Dr. Lawrence Yawa also plays an important role in advancing the Kingdom’s engagement with the African Diaspora and the African Union’s recognition of the Diaspora as its Sixth Region. His diplomatic work reaches beyond traditional government-to-government relations to include African Diaspora organizations, entrepreneurs, investors, educators, humanitarian institutions, cultural leaders, and community organizations throughout the world. Through this work, he helps promote stronger connections between Africa and its global Diaspora through trade, investment, humanitarian service, cultural exchange, education, technology, and sustainable development.
